Home remedies for cold and cough

Since, cold and cough is very common nowadays. 
It's very necessary to be introduced with home remedies. 
So, here health and wellness is back with a new topic. 
Home remedies to prevent cold and cough -
1. Kadha -
(Consists of cinnacona, clove, large cardamom, black pepper, ginger, tulsi leaves and lemon)
It should be taken twice a day to get relief from cold and cough. 


2. Drink a glass of hot milk mixed with a half tablespoon of turmeric



3. Since, tulsi have powerful antibacterial properties so, you can chew it during cold before bed time for 2-3 days.



4. Since, ginger have antiseptic properties you can cut a 3- inch piece of ginger and mix it with 2 tablespoon of honey. Boiling it in hot water, sip daily before bedtime for relief by nasal congestion and cough.



5. Black cardamom should be chewed 2-3 times a day to get rid of cough.



6. Amla is a great source of antioxidants and has antibacterial properties which help to build one's immunity.



7. Mix honey with warm water and drink it to get relief from cough.



8. Jaggery solution - Boil water with black pepper, cumin and jaggery. Used to get relief from chest congestion.



9. Steam - Boil water in a bowl, put a towel over your head and breathe in the steam. Take it twice a day. 




10. Salt and water gargle - Mix salt in warm water and gargle it. It helps to soothe scratchy throat that causes you to cough. Relieves throat Irritation and also kills the bacteria.



11. Green tea - Put 2-3 cardamom in boiling water and then green tea leaves. It have antioxidant properties hence, improves immunity. 


 
12 .Eat citrus fruits like orange, lemon, grapefruit, etc. to develop your immunity
